Remembrance Candle To Be Proud Of
Hi everyone, I would just like to say welcome to my Blog today regarding a Remembrance Candle To Be Proud Of! I mentioned in a previous post that I would share some anniversary candles that I have made for a very special friend of mine who lost their mother a few years ago. The candles that I have made range in size and type but have all been designed the same.
Losing someone close to you is a very personal thing and everyone deals with this in their own way and time. My lovely friend has graciously allowed me to share the candles that I have made for her.
For these candles we have done a design for both sides with the candles being similar in diameter and the design based on the shortest candle. The front design including the photo was based on similar candles I have produced for other clients. The back of the candles has been imprinted with a poem requested by my dear friend.
All the candles used are of the drip variety which was intended to keep the cost low. The larger white candle was a non scented candle and it was roughly 7.5w x 10h (in cm) with 45 hours burn time. The pink candle is scented waterlily and lotus and is 6.5w x 7.5h (in cm) with 30 hours burn time. The shorter candle is typically a size I would recommend as a minimum as this has a reasonable amount of room for a photo to see at a distance not taking into account burning the candle.
As you can see if this is for a gift I am happy to package the candle as above or as agreed. Thank you for reading this blog post it was an honour to create and share something so special and private on behalf of my friend. Now it's time for me to go back to Secretly Scrapbooking!
